We knew Abbey was special when she
was only a couple of weeks old. Her
pattern is particularly striking for a dilute
calico, especially with the cream in her
blaze and her copper eyes. Abbey was
named after our favorite monastic library
in the States. Mt. Angel Abbey library is in
Oregon where we lived for three years.
